Is this course suitable for beginners?

Absolutely! This course is designed for anyone looking to grasp the fundamentals of this moving meditation practice. It’s also perfect if you’re interested in self-cultivation and holistic health.

Do I need to attend all the in-person sessions?

We encourage you to join as many in-person classes as possible for the full experience, as we will cover a different section of the form each week. The partner practice sessions are optional, however. If you can’t make all the in-person sessions, you can make up that material later – it’s a lifelong practice! Plus, the online portion allows you to learn and practice at home, even if you can’t attend all live sessions.

Can I take the course online only?

Is this a martial arts course?

This course includes an introduction to martial arts principles and partner drills (Push Hands), but the primary focus is on foundational Tai Chi movements and self-cultivation practices. It’s perfect for those who are curious about martial arts but want to start gently.
